We live by faith and not by sight

I recently received some not so great news relating to a friend of mine...and it raised some questions in my heart. Why do bad things happen to good people? Why this family? Why NOW? I mean, any time but NOW. It just so happened a couple days ago I got an e-mail from this friends mom. In her email she wrote the words:

The
wonderful thing is I know who is in control. I know He is leading and that He has
already lived out our
days and that He has a plan, a great plan.

How true is THAT???
We know the One who is in control!
And while yes, a lot of times we must walk slightly blinded and without a complete understanding of why but we can walk knowing that ALL things are part of a great plan.

I took this photo yesterday:

Maybe it doesn't seem signifcant...but to me, this picture symbolized how a lot of times there is so much in the way we cant really see through the problem, but despite all the stuff in the way, there's beauty and there's light...it says in Psalms that darkness remains for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. And this photo is just an example to me of finding that light even in troublesome times.

CarpeDiem.
