it's been almost 2 years since i've written a post on here.

many times, i've thought to delete this, as (naturally) the posts from years ago reflect my place in life years ago... but this space has served it's purpose of reminding me that i've come from somewhere and that i am en route to somewhere else.

it's 2014, my 25th year on this planet.

this year will mark the most change my life has seen in quite some time, if not more then ever before.

i will graduate hair school. i will take my state boards in two states. i will move.
i will remain open-minded to possibilities and options.

it's the year of taking root
the year of flourishing
the year of blooming wherever i am planted

it's the year of meeting people who will change my life forever

i don't know if anyone even reads this or if anyone ever will. perhaps one day i'll get bold and post a link on social media and all these people will have access to 5+ years of writing, or maybe i won't.

regardless, it will serve it's purpose for me and i will grow from it.

i've been following so many blogs for so long now that maybe it'll be nice if some of them can read something from me too.
