Oh, tonight.
My heart is so heavy for those I love I can't even attempt to fall asleep. I guess it's a good thing I don't start school tomorrow. Which is what brings me to writing anyway. Let me tell you what He's done for me.
He's given me a reason for living. A reason to get up in the morning. He's given me a passion to make Himself known. He's given me so many open doors. He's allowed me to attend the most incredible highschool in the world and meet the most amazing people and teachers there. He's brought me to youth services, camps, conferences, and meetings to teach and instruct and mold and convict and HEAL me. He's alive and came to fix my broken life. He's laid down His life for me, that I may do the same for others. He's allowed me to mentor the 5 most beauitful and intelligent and gifted young ladies. He's allowed me to encourage adults. He's allowed me to fill a wounded spirit with joy. He's allowed me to reach out and bless people without even knowing. I can't express the feeling I had today. I walked into a room full of people who carry my heart, and [this is hard to say in a way that doesn't sound selfish, but don't stop reading yet.] being so full of joy upon seeing me, jumped up and I was overwhelmed with a million and one hugs at the same time and huge yells of "HANNAH SALS!!!!!!!". And that one moment, while completly healing a slightly down spirit, made me realize why I do what I do. Why I give and love and support and mentor and heal and speak and pray and hope and dream and laugh and love and desire and want and need. BECAUSE IT DOES SOMETHING. BECAUSE ITS POWERFUL AND HAS THE ABILITY TO CHANGE LIVES.
God has used me to be a life changer.
And, God has allowed me to meet so many life changers myself and benefit from them.
See, friends, that is what this is all about. Life, I mean.
CHANGING THINGS. MAKING A DIFFERENCE.
Well, you might be thinking, obviously.
But no, I really mean it. As Christians and as young people especially, we have to. We have to hope and dream and love and pray and serve and laugh because it DOES something.
make it count.
tonight. tomorrow. next week.
make it matter...
and know, it does something.
Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
I love you all, whoever reads this [hey to Mrs. Rogers, because she's the only one I KNOW reads this!!] may you be blessed!

I read this, Hannah, and I am so encouraged by your appreciation for what God has done for you. It is such an important thing to keep in sight, because when we forget what God has done for us, then we begin to think we can make it on our own, and I think there are few more greivous mistakes we can make than that.
Thanks for sharing Hannah!!
