Stop striving, it's already yours.
Stop striving, it's already yours.

Being perfect has nothing to do with sinlessness, but everything to do with having the things you need to be the man or woman God made you to be.

If Christ died for you, and rose, does that not mean that He is living for you? It's amazing the fact that Christ died, but had He not risen, His death would not mean anything. But, because He rose, and because He LIVES, then He is living inside of you.

Legalism puts expectation on you.
It tells you to be effective for the Kingdom you have to do and be all of these things, things that you aren't capable of. This is where the idea of being perfect comes in. There's this idea that being perfect means being sinless. How are we supposed to be sinless? We can't be. It's impossible.

You've got to stop listening to this.
You've got to stop striving for something that's unattainable.
God doesn't ask for perfection.
God doesn't ask for sinlessness.
Because that's impossible.
He asks for obedience.
He asks for sensitivity.
He asks for an open heart and open eyes.

So stop striving.
Striving is only going to end in disappointment, because you can strive all you want, but if the end result isn't attainable? You're going to be broken.

You want effectiveness? It's already yours. Strength? it's yours.
Hope? Peace? Joy? Clarity? It's already yours.
So stop running after it. Stop laboring over it. Stop losing rest over it.

Stop DOING.

Be.
Be the man or woman of God that you are.
Be sensitive.
Be obedient.
Be wise.
Be in the Word.
Be in prayer.

You're going to get burnt out and tired from doing, from striving, from trying to get something by actions.

Rest in Him. It's already yours.
All those things you're searching for and seeking are yours.

GREATER IS HE WHO IS IN YOU THEN HE WHO IS IN THE WORLD
GREATER IS HE WHO IS IN YOU THEN HE WHO IS IN THE WORLD.

He is for you.
HE IS FOR YOU.
He intercedes for you.
HE INTERCEDES FOR YOU.

He doesn't want this for you. He doesn't want bondage for you, He doesn't want confusion.
Stop bringing some of that upon yourself by believing that you have to be something you can't be. He wills that you live freely and in peace.

Let go of the burden of expectation.
"But I'm called into ministry.....I'm called into greatness....So I have to ______"
Okay, great. So you are called to greatness and called to be set apart, but that doesn't mean strive to be something you can't be.

What God expects is obedience, sensitivity, and trust.
Give Him those things, and the rest is going to flow.
There are no expectations when you're living in Him.

He dances over you.
Sings over you.
Rejoices over you.

And yet, we have this idea that we have to be something for Him?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying never do things for the Kingdom, but I'm saying don't strive and beat yourself up and get down because of actions.....the actions that will advance His Kingdom are just going to come as you be who He made you. Use your gifts. Be sensitive and look and ask for ways to use those gifts, and all of these things will flow.

STOP STRIVING, IT'S ALREADY YOURS.
